Mobile phone users can block any such messages and calls through a service provided by Pakistan Telecommunication (PTA). (DNCR) to get rid of marketing messages.

The Pakistan telecommunication Authority has announced that it wold take steps to block spam and unsolicited calls and messages.

 

How to block unsolicited messages ?

Many people such promotional messages are of interest or benefit and some waiting for such messages to arrive and take advantage of them.but there are also consumers who annoyed by message because in addition to sales information thousands of companies send you marketing message like that advertisement message that have no interest in consumers.

In this situation if you want to block telemarketing messages you can tell PTA that don’t register my number for unwanted calls or messages .

For this you have to write REG and send a message to 3627.After that you will stop receiving all kinds of promotional message and calls.

 

How  to block spam messages ?

If a user complains to us that he is receiving such messages from these specific numbers if so , action may be taken against him but if the same messages other numbers if someone sends usings we cannot block it ourselves .To keep yourself protected from spamming and unsolicited communication .This type of message also includes fraudulent message and calls.like that income support program ,mobile cash transfer ,your ATM card temprory blocked , your debt card blocked ,etc . to do this write down the specific number of users and receive from them .you have to copy the message and send an SMS to 9000.Acooring to the PTA  users will have to pay small fee to use the service .
